Mujer del Mar – Artist Statement

Mujer del Mar is a visual meditation on the profound connection between the human spirit and the ocean. This series captures the emotions, reflections, and transformations that occur when we stand before the sea—its vastness mirroring our inner depths, its waves washing over us like a ritual of renewal.

Each image embodies a different emotional state—release, vulnerability, surrender, and rebirth—infused with bold hues that reflect the shifting tides of our souls. The ocean is not just a setting but a force, an entity that holds our stories, our burdens, and our dreams. Through these works, I explore how the water cleanses, heals, and carries us forward, allowing us to emerge lighter, freer, and more in tune with ourselves.
